FEMO REAPS $400,000 FROM THE FIRST ANNUAL OSISKO GOLF TOURNAMENT

The first edition of a charity golf tournament organized by Osisko Mining Corporation ("Osisko") has raised $400,000 for Fonds Essor Malartic Osisko (FEMO), the Malartic sustainable development fund created by Osisko in March 2008. This amount will be added to the several millions of dollars in cash and Osisko shares committed to FEMO by the Company and its officers.

Financial partners, consultants, suppliers and members of the Osisko team were among some 80 participants at the tournament, held at the Malartic Golf Club on September 9. Osisko intends to make this an annual event.

"This charity golf tournament is a way to fulfill our March 2008 commitment and to allow our suppliers to contribute to the Malartic community," explained Sean Roosen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Osisko. "The Canadian Malartic project is not just Osisko, it is also dozens of other businesses from the Abitibi-Temiscamingue region and elsewhere in Quebec who employ workers from Malartic and the region. By accepting Osisko's invitation to participate in this event, these companies have contributed Malartic's sustainable development, and I thank them for that."

"Along with salaries paid in Malartic and across the region, contracts awarded to regional businesses and Osisko's direct contributions to the community, events like this are another way to ensure that Malartic residents benefit from the value created by our project," he added.
