Auction to benefit palliative care facility

A fun-filled charity auction was held in Val d'Or as part of Mining Week 2008 in early May. Osisko donated a small drill core display from its Canadian Malartic deposit, which was bought by Mr. Jean-Luc Corriveau, a land surveyor from Val d'Or, for $650. Four other mines also donated rocks, and a total of $4,300 was raised for a palliative care unit in Val d'Or.
